Terms of Service

Closeli is a technology platform that connects elderly individuals in Bengaluru with vetted student companions. We are not a healthcare provider, an employment agency, or a staffing company. Companions are independent service providers, not employees of Closeli.

• Family members: must be 18 or older.
• Companions: must be 18 to 22 and enrolled in a Bengaluru college.
• Elders: any age, resident in Bengaluru.

• Companions must complete our vetting before any solo visit: college ID verification, police verification, two reference checks, and a video interview.
• Companions must never provide medical advice or administer medication.
• Companions must not accept cash or gifts outside the platform.
• Payouts are ₹300 per completed session, processed within 7 days of month end.
• Closeli may suspend a companion for violations of our code of conduct.

• Subscriptions are charged monthly, in advance. Your first week is free.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds for partial months, except in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
• Families are responsible for ensuring the elder consents to companionship visits.

• Arranging sessions outside the platform.
• Sharing a companion's contact details with third parties.
• Requesting tasks outside the agreed activities.
• Harassment of any kind, toward anyone.

Closeli is a matching platform and does not guarantee outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding month.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Questions: hello@closeli.in.
